A 15-year story
This month, Ivatherm celebrates 15 years.
We took our first steps, like everyone else, with a few people close to us. Few, but very dedicated, and who are still part of our team today. Then we grew organically, healthily, and many people who appreciate us joined us. We have a team of 50 professionals and our products are sold in 15 countries, across three continents.
When we started this journey, we didn't lack confidence. In 2005, the first six cosmetic products appeared on pharmacy shelves. We knew we had something unique to offer, something that deserved to reach as many people as possible around the world.
Our secret: Herculane thermal water
A natural and effective ingredient that all our products contain. Special due to its high concentrations of minerals and essential trace elements for skin vitality, Herculane thermal water quickly became a favorite among our customers and in lifestyle and beauty publications.
In just one year, our products were distributed in 1500 pharmacies nationwide. The rest, as they say, is history – but, we could add, also geography: year after year, we reached new countries, from Moldova and Croatia to Vietnam, China, and Qatar.
Innovation in balance with nature
At Ivatherm, we love nature, we love technology, but above all, the balance between the two. To the basic ingredient, Herculane thermal water, we constantly add new natural, innovative ingredients, and ingenious formulas, patented by researchers from all over the world.
In 2008, we first integrated Aquaphyline into one of our products, an extract from wild pansy that stimulates the synthesis of aquaporins – a discovery awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Ten years later, we launched Toleriskin, a "microbiome friendly" range, one of the most important current innovations in cosmetology, designed to treat intolerant sensitive skin.

It has been a journey that we have undertaken with enthusiasm, a permanent openness to innovation and care for the well-being of our customers. As a result, from the six cosmetics launched at the beginning, we now have 65 products, in 21 different ranges.
We are glad that we have gathered around us professional, passionate and inspired people who believe, like us, that beauty is hidden in small details.
And we like to think of our international network as a family: from the French researchers with whom we designed our formulas, to the collaborators who contributed to the globalization of the Ivatherm brand and the dermatologists who recommend our products all over the world.
Looking to the future
Today we are among the top five most important dermocosmetic companies in Romania. We continue to innovate, learn and develop both domestically and internationally. So that women all over the world can live better lives.
